PostSubject: Forum Died April 5 (or thereabouts)   Sat May 09, 2009 8:40 am

It was a dreary Tuesday morning
When I tuned into NvTv
April 2009
Months from Christmas Eve

I'd been waiting for Jeremy Kyle
Channel hopping just to kill time
His troubled guests make me smile
Sad I know, but not a crime

That's when I first saw Oppenheimer
On Kick Out The Jams, a repeat
As I watched the band in action
I thought to myself 'Sweet'

The guitarists ADHD-like performance
Was complimented by the bald guy on drums
With a voice like an angel, head like Kojak
Their songs were addictive and fun

So I checked out their profile on Myspace
Became friends (though I rarely add bands)
Then I made my way to their forum
To join in (well, I'd time on my hands)

So I signed on the line and I posted
Later checking to see who'd replied
But things didn't go as expected
It appeared that the forum had died

There was no "Welcome Doug" from the members
Not a single response did I see
Except for one post from the admin
An admin I believe is Rocky

So I sit at my screen broken hearted
Knowing I gave the forum my best
Perhaps I misunderderstood it
Perhaps it was all just a test

Well typed.
I used to come here, but not much was going on.
Do you have the link to their Live Journal?
