PostSubject: Take The Whole Midrange And Boost It!   Sun Jul 27, 2008 4:26 am

Major Television Events.

Should I be concerned with major television events?
Or what about the money that Iíve taken and spent?
Iím in the middle of a very weird decent.
I want to take you down, take you down, take you

Somewhere that feel you belong,
Where your feet are never dragging along.
There ainít no doubt in whether this is right or wrong.
I want to break you down, break you down, break you

Out of this self made tiny cocoon
Weíll have to aim high and aim right if weíre ever gonna
Shoot the moon, shoot the moon, shoot theÖ

Iíll hand you over to the local police.
Youíre getting sort of friendly with the nearly deceased.
My medication isnít on a slow release
I want to shake you down, shake you down, shake you down, shake you down,
Shake you down.

Look Up

Weíve turned a corner on an open road,
Another metaphor to help you share the weight of this load.

A certain person used to fill the void
and now itís curtains to the trip that you enjoyed, you enjoyed.

I know some people in the city never look up at the spaces in the buildings
That they walk past everyday and they say
I swear some people in the city always look up at the spaces in the buildings
And they use this scene to describe the emptiness that theyíre feeling in their lives.

Iíll raise a point that will be truly sore,
I held it back too long, too long to ignore.

Cate Blanchett

There were signs for some gas food and lodging
I was dealing with questions I was dodging
What you said I know you meant it
It brings a total derangement of the senses.

Making some calls in the crowded
Rooms and the halls we ainít allowed to leave

We were playing a game called ĎWho Am I?í
You know in between wars we Live and Let Die.
You were punching the air after we just met.
Who would guessed you were Cate Blanchett.

Taking your calls in the empty
Rooms and the halls we ainít allowed to leave.

Only Goal & Winner

Freeze. In a moment we can do whatever we please
I cover my eyes and count up to three, remembering
All the touches you delivered.

Hide. The face of someone whoís never felt so alive
With you hand in mine itís alright as we hit
The turn, the street, the river.

Ours is a problem that is easily solved
The votes are counted and results have been called.
Itís a two to one majority. The motions passed.
Unbelievable.

Breath. Just suppose I wanna believe as one door closes that another will lead
To a future in a time that I have borrowed.

Powers intervened to breakdown what is walled
The votes are counted and results have been called.
Itís a two to one majority. The motions passed.
Unbelievable

Not enough time, not enough time, not enoughÖ

Take the Whole Midrange and Boost It.

Once there was a boy
Who sought and found a noise
Lets say his name was Bill
He used his sound for good and ill

Then there was his girl
Her name was Lil, she twirled.
And danced a dance that Bill intended
So his noise could be transcended.

When are you gonna turn on, to using the noise in your song?
When are you gonna turn on?

Now itís played on Mars
My God itís full of stars
His quote on how he mass produced it?
ďTake the whole midrange and boost it!Ē

Hey!
When are you gonna turn on, to using the noise in your song?
When are you gonna turn on?

Stephen McCauley For President.

Travel without moving.
Distant stars shine on, with
mathematics proving
Dead light carries on.

You drive up the island at night.
Past the rocks and flares that light our way in danger.
Consequence of a movement will bring
Sequences of reactions not seen by the people with us.

Down across to a dark room, machines
Show the stills of the picture weíve seen from a recent memory.
Rooftops of a skyline we view.
The results of a meeting we knew that would bring us closer.

Support Our Truths.

When you wish upon a star after falling hard
You look inside for scars
When you see a satellite in the sky at night
You want to shine as bright.
Really nothing to declare, itís not very fair,
But itís the truth I swear.
When Iím shaken to the core and Iím wanting more,
Of heart-ache thatís in store

Letís make a truce just for a while.
Weíll be the ones to hold you tight

When you find it hard to sleep and you try to keep
The ground beneath your feet.
When they leave you out to dry and can handle high times
We can re-align.
Listen out for an excuse, thereís no valid proof
Can you support our truths?

Letís make a truce just for a while.
Weíll be the ones to hold you tight

The Blue Rose

Twisting around, we live for coded messages.
Stamping the ground, there is a code in everything.
Clenching your fist, there is a mode of messaging.
Nothing is missed, we live for coded messages.
Blinking you eyes, there is a code in everything.
Got something to hide, there is a mode of messaging

I see, I see, I see , I see roses show
Pinned to the turned up lapels youíre to taught and told to expose
And then thereís stitching thatís used to alter just more than clothes
While nearby people walk out windows through which dark light flows.

I see youíve turned into someone youíre not.
Youíre giving up principles or you forgot
To put down the pen, take up the knife.
This is not an exit just a way out only.

You see Iíve turned into someone Iím not.
Youíre simply suggesting that I had forgot
To put down the pen, take up the knife.
This is not an exit, just a subtle little change in direction.

Before & After the Quake

In a forest so deep, there are thoughts you can keep to yourself
As the crash landing site looks stunning.
In a land that youíve made, youíve decided to stay
And confront all the monsters that keep on coming.

When our shadows fall, the patterns they make.
Theyíve been there since before and after the quake.
When our bodies meet, they canít help but shake.
Been this way since before and after the quake.

By candle and flame, you translate the names from the sections
Youíve put off until the ending.
With coffee and smoke the sub-conscious soaks up the dreams that youíve read
Until thereís no meaning.

Fireworks are Illegal in the State of New Jersey.

Now itís dark and still, thatís when you arrive with what can only be described as car crash thatís in human form.

We paid, we paid cash money for your display
We want our money back, we want our money back, we want our money back
What do you mean? I donít understand, there is no cover charge?
Freeís a pretty good price, itís a pretty good price Ė thatís twice.

What on earth is going down?
Locals hanging round.
What appears on Grand & Green?
Disbelief it seems.
Making party on the side.
Explosions in the skies.
Doing what your heart desires.
Set these streets on fire.

The Never Never.

Fine! Iíll put it on the never never and all the while you canít decide
To save erase or drop in or drop out.

I Donít Care What Anyone Says About You, I Think Youíre Alright.

This is a call back, to everything that I knew.
And Iím hoping to crawl back to you.

This is what I want to do, but these are things that I have to do.
This is what I want for you, but these are the ways of the world.
