Well.

This year, I've really struggled more than ever to find brand new bands that make me really excited.

The music I've liked best has been by bands I've been working with,
like In Case Of Fire, Mojo Fury and Pocket Billiards.

I'm busting to find a band that will change my life.

Hello all, I figured this needed to be said.

Shaun and Rocky, we are grateful that you two sprinkled our lives with great memories, good cheer, and rockin' tunes for the past few (for me it was only 2 or 3) years. You put together some great stuff, and you're such nice guys!

So we'll miss you, and I'm sure you've had as good a time as us through the ride.

We played in Dublin last night with Frank Turner.

Had a great, but nervous time.

It was great to see Frank play again and also great to be playing
new songs.

I cut my nose on my vocoder mic, only my second vocoder injury.

it's going to take us quite a while to get it completed.

I'm Rocky O'Reilly and I play keyboards and guitars and loads of other things in Oppenheimer.

I also record other bands at my studio in Belfast.

Well?

So "The Tall Ships" have come to Belfast for the first time in 19 years.

It's a transatlantic race of tall ships that stop off all over the place and people come to see them. Apparently 200,000 people in two days in Belfast.
There's music, food, vendors, an hour long tv special and three days of news taken up by them.

I find it all pretty bizarre.

If it was tall Moogs, I'd be there.

This was the most bizarre thing ever shouted at Oppenheimer, i think.

It was during an early show at Queen's University in Belfast.
Most frighteningly it was followed by a pair of boxer shorts.

Anyone got any good heckles or weird things they've heard shouted at a stage or from the stage?

I had never heard of Oppenheimer until I was walking into the venue. I could not believe my ears at what was coming from the 2 musicians. I was totally bowled over at Oppenheimer's sound. If sound could be in 3D, you guys have achieved it! Your performance was one that I won't ever forget! I hope to see you guys perform again in Pittsburgh...hopefully at Mr. Smalls!

I fell in love with Oppenheimer at a TMBG concert (doesn't everybody?) in Madison last week, and TMBG said something about Oppenheimer's new album but they got the name wrong. It was something like Take all the Middle Frequencies and Turn It Up (or something completely different, I don't know). Anybody know anything about it and how long should it take to get on iTunes?

p.s. You guys are amazing and are the reason I've been searching my town for air horns.
